Hello!

Ever since she was a little girl, Lauren was involved in sports. From ballet and swimming to soccer and basketball, Lauren's life revolved around which sporting event was next. As she grew up, her dad introduced her to the Chicago Bulls, their home pro-basketball team, and she was even lucky enough to have season tickets since the age of 12. Ever since her first Bulls game, she wanted to work in professional basketball as a reporter. when she grew up.

In her college search, she researched all of the schools with the best Communication and Sport Broadcasting programs, and Lauren ended up attending High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. She attended HPU as a Presidential Scholar, and she was later involved in the Sports Link club and Sport Management Association. Towards the end of her senior year, she was also involved in the newly formed Women Leaders in Sport club. During her junior year, she was a part of the first group to go to HPU in the City: NYC Sports with a group of fellow HPU students to meet with employees from the NBA, ESPN, Madison Square Garden, and many others. Lauren graduated in May of 2021 with a B.A. in Sports Media and a minor in Sport Management.

Lauren is currently continuing not only her education, but also her career at High Point University. Lauren is working to earn her Master's in Communication and Business Leadership in a 15 month program that started in the summer of 2021. While earning her Master's, Lauren will also be working in the Undergraduate Admissions Office as an Admissions Ambassador Counselor. Lauren is excited for whatever her future holds, and she hopes she will be able to advocate for the equality and equity of all female athletes in her future.
